The mountain stretches diagonally across Morocco for about 1000 kilometers, plus the saw-toothed Jurassic sharp edges behave as an effective weather barrier. High Atlas will hardly fail to stun you with its remarkable beauty. Put on your very best hiking shoes and embark on an exciting trip you will never forget. You can now reach this site by taking either a taxi or a bus. Take the hiking trail located in the Toubkal National Park.

4) Essaouira.  As a top Morocco tourist place, Essaouira is a fine city to escape both the heat and big city's monotony. In the 1960's this seaside town was a hot beach spot for movie stars. You won't want to miss the Gnaoua which is a very vivid and lively beach festival. You can take the bus to reach Essaouira. 

Also, visit Essaouira Citadel, stroll the whole medina, roam along the wall to enjoy he unique breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. You could ride a horse, kitesurf, or windsurf. Or you may attend the Gnaoua World Music Festival.


5) Chefchaouen.  Situated amidst Rif mountains, Chefchaouen is a little town in a very large landscape. It's a popular place for solo traveling as well as for exploring the town's white and blue painted houses. Their people are wonderfully warm and extremely friendly, and you are certain to enjoy especially nice hospitality while here. 

Take a plane from Marrakech to Fes, Tangier, Tetouan, or even Casablanca to reach this destination. Then, use a taxi to go to CTM bus station. 

In addition, you can hike, swim, and soak in the spellbinding waterfalls of Ras El Maa.
